Many outsiders consider the Anabaptists (Amish, Mennonite, Church of the Brethren, German Baptist People) mistakenly to be a mild, forgiving bunch because they disavow any form of physical violence against their follow beings. What the outsiders may not understand, that while the Anabaptist first line of defense is prayer, their second line is the dreaded Elder stare. This stare leaves no doubt that the Elder is condemning the offender to an eternity in Hell. The only thing worse than reading scripts on Amazon Studios. Better watch yourself.
